Types of Leads

There are three types of leaders:

  1. Cold
  2. Warm
  3. Hot.
A Cold lead is someone or information of your potential customer that you have never met or never talked on phone or through any other medium. This lead has not gone through the **QUALIFIED filter yet.

A Warm lead is someone or information of a potential customer that you have already met face-to-face or had a chat through any communication medium. This lead is in the qualifying stage or has passed to pre-Qualifying stage.

A Warm lead is someone or information about a potential customer that you have met, discussed business deals, and that potential customer has the maximum chances of turning into your customer. This type of customer has passed the QUALIFYING filter.

QUALIFYING FILTER: is a set of special instruction or benchmark that you use to filter out potential customers. For example, one QUALIFYING filter could be to accept potential customers with a budget of over a specific amount - let's say $10,000.

Depending upon lead, one must always adjust their time. A hot lead should be given more time than the warm lead and way more than the cold lead.
